Join us to discover the alternative face of Budapest. A city that is marked with an interesting past and exciting present.
Come with us and discover the colorfully painted walls of the Jewish quarter and how an innovation was created in the area during recent years by graffiti artists and the city.
On this 2-2.5 hour long tour we are going to guide you to the colorful Jewish quarter of Budapest with its different faces during the day and night. What we gonna explore on this tour are painted murals and street art of this astonishing area.
Since 2011 various firewalls or also called partition walls have become a canvas for artists in the Jewish Quarter. During this cozy walk, we will introduce you to the artistic face of the quarter and fulfilled with a short history as well, which is a perfect experience for curious travelers and explorers.

Follow this Google Maps link. If you have arrived at the meeting point, your guide will be holding up the FREE BUDAPEST WALKING TOURS maps and leaflets and will be in uniform blue T-shirt.
You can book the tour by going to our booking page and entering your details in the form. Afterwards you will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your booked tour. Thats it! If you want to book the tour for groups larger than 8 people, please contact us via our contact form.

You can join the tour without any admission fee. At the end of the tour you decide how much you would like to pay for the tour. If you are not happy with the quality provided, please give feedback to the guide after the tour has ended and tell him your concerns.
No absolutely not. Guides depend 100% on your generous tip after the tour. So please always talk to the guide if you were not happy with the quality of the tour, otherwise the guide can´t improve the tour.
It always depends on your happiness after the tour. We recommend between 8-15€, but there is no limit to the top! 😉

That can be easily done through our booking page.
Each tour starts on time so please try to be punctual. The tour leaves the meeting point in about 10-12 minutes after the start time out of respect for those who did arrive on time. Our logistic assistant however is waiting for the late comers for another 5-8 minutes after he tour has started.

Yes, we have a scheduled toilet break during our 10.30AM & 2.30PM walking tours. We would recommend bringing a bottle of cold drink in the summer, that you can refill at the public drinking fountains while walking.
Free Budapest Walking Tours are held rain or shine. Wet weather gear is useful. We do some route adjusments to accommodate poor weather conditions.
